Privacy policy

This Data Protection Declaration declares the nature, the extent and the scope of the collection and usage of personal data of visitors and users (following both referred to as ‘user’), by the Parax UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Dolziger Straße 46, 10247 Berlin (following referred to as ‘supplier’) as sole responsibile for collecting, storing and using the data correctly in accordance with the legislation on data protection. Server Data

For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider (so called server log files), is collected: – type and version of the browser you use – operating system – websites that linked you to our site (referrer URL) – websites that you visit – date and time of your visit – your Internet Protocol (IP) address. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person. The data is used for statistical purposes in order to improve our website and services.

Personal Data Protection

Personal Data shall only be collected and used by the supplier, if legally allowed or approved by the user. In general, it is obvious to the user what data is being saved while using the service, e.g. Name, E-mail address and notification by usuage of the order form. For the purpose of ordering items, collected data (e.g. name, e-mail-adress, address, payment data) will be used for the fulfillment and processing of the contract. We treat all data as strictly confidential. For data protection reasons, it is transmitted securely using encoding and will not be passed on to third party, that is not involved in the order, delivery or payment process. By contacting the supplier (per contact form or email), we save the personal data, for the purpose of processing the inquiries as well as for the case of arising follow-up questions. The supplier has met organizational , contractual and technical safety measures, to make sure, that the data security provisions are observed and accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, damage or the acces of unauthorized people are prevented.

Dataforwarding to third party

User data is only passed on to third party, if it is legally allowed or the user has approved. For example when the data is used to fulfill contractual obligations to the user and the post adress is passed on to the shipping supplier after an order has been made. Or if competent authorities in the field of law enforcement request the data. The user’s personal data will in no way be passed on to third parties for advertising purpose or for creating user accounts to sell or pass on.

Cookies

USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We also use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics is based on cookies and allows an analysis of website usage. As we have activated IP anonymisation for our website, the IP addresses that are automatically transmitted with the usage details are abbreviated by Google within the European Union or other contracting states of the European Economic Area before the data are forwarded to and stored in the USA. It is only in exceptional cases that IP addresses are transmitted first to a Google server in the USA, where they are shortened. Acting on our behalf, Google uses the data to analyse the use of the website for us, to compile website activity reports, and to render further services relating to website and internet use. The above described IP anonymising procedure has been agreed between Google Inc. and the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information and recognised as compliant with data protection requirements (see the press release). Use of Facebook components
